Collections include 50 eDNA and 20,000+ tissue samples representing plants, terrestrial invertebrates, and vertebrates. Samples are managed with Symbiota and Excel.

We are proud to announce that the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) has joined GGBN as a member! December 2 2024 Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank has New Collections Available through GGBN!

Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank (KFGB) has made their collection available through GGBN! Their collections include 7,400 plant samples (50 families, 133 genera) collected in Poland, many rare and endangered species which was also funded by the GGI Awards Program. Check it out here!
