Currently only ABCD and BioCASe can be used for providing data to our data portal. Since several GGBN partners use IPT and DarwinCore-Archive to provide their data to GBIF we now are going to create and test a GGBN extension for DarwinCore-Archive. We plan to enable the use of DarwinCore-Archive in parallel.

This is the current (09/2014) model for testing GGBN Data Standard with IPT:

Please see also [1] for xml files used by IPT. Full support of all GGBN extensions will be available with next IPT release planned for November 2014.

To use Material Sample as Core a manual change in configuration of IPT is required. Add the following 2 lines to $IPT_DATA_DIR/config/ipt.properties ipt.core_rowTypes=http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/Event ipt.core_idTerms=http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/eventID See also here
