Icebreaker

The skeleton of an Allosaurus keeps watch over the dinosaur hall of the museum

Come along to the Museum fuer Naturkunde and meet the world's tallest dinosaur skeleton. Our icebreaker will take place on the evening of Monday, 20 June, starting at around 18 o'clock. Here, you can meet your colleagues and friend for a nice conversation, enjoy some drinks and snacks, and visit the galleries of the museum. There will also be an opportunities for guided tours into the collections and research facilities of the museum.


Price: 20 € for companion, free of charge for congress participants.

The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday 23rd June next to the grand green houses in the botanic garden of the Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum Berlin. Weather permitting this will be a wonderful night in the beautiful setting of the botanic garden, not to forget the dancing! There is a chance for guided tours into the collections, museum and green houses of the Botanical Garden and Botanisches Museum. Music and dancing will be from 9:00 pm until midnight. Our "musicmaker" DJ Sebastian Eis is looking forward to see you on the dancefloor.

Price: 75 € (including Food, 2 Drinks and Music)

Optional Social Event


Guided Bicycle Tour on Wednesday, June 22

Enjoy some fresh Berlin air on bike after a long conference day. This event is a guided 3 hour bicycle tour through the city of Berlin, giving you the opportunity for sightseeing. Starting from the famous Nikolaiviertel near Alexanderplatz, you will be able to explore the city. We will have a stop at Berlin’s most famous takeaway – Konnopkes Imbiss – and you should not miss the opportunity to taste a Currywurst (available also in vegan quality) there.

Helmet and rain capes are available on request.
