GGBN Conference 2014

GGBN’s first International Conference on Biodiversity Biobanking took place in London, England from the 30th of June to the 2nd of July 2014. The conference was co-hosted by the Natural History Museum London, and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

You can fly directly to Heathrow or Gatwick Airport.
Travel to NHM London:
From Heathrow Airport, take the London Underground's Piccadilly Line towards Oakwood to the South Kensington Station (43 minutes). The Natural History Museum is a five minute walk from South Kensington Station.

Participants and vendors should arrive at entrance for Departmental Staff and Visitors on Exhibition Road.
Travel to Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew:
From the South Kensington Station, take the London Underground's District line towards Richmond Underground Station (The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is within walking distance of the Kew Gardens Underground Station). The total travel time from the Natural History Museum to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is about 25 minutes.
From Heathrow Airport, take the London Underground's Piccadilly Line towards Oakwood Underground Station and change trains at Hammersmith Station (33 minutes). Take the District Line towards Richmond Underground Station to the Kew Gardens Station (11 minutes).
